Biography

Dr Vincent Pow is an experienced radiation oncologist at Icon Cancer Centre Noarlunga. In 2012, Dr Pow completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Adelaide, South Australia. He then completed five years of specialist radiation oncology training within the SA/NT Network.

In 2021 he became a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR). He is a permanent staff specialist, Chair of the Radiation Oncology Quality & Safety Committee and Acting Deputy Director for Radiation Oncology at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. He also works as a Locum Consultant Radiation Oncologist at the Alan Walker Cancer Care Centre in Darwin. Dr Pow maintains a strong interest in advanced radiation techniques and clinical research and is eager to continue to take on new challenges.

Over the years Dr Pow has published and presented many different topics with a recent focus on Telemedicine and its usage in helping rural and remote patients. His clinical experience covers a broad range of solid tumour malignancies with a special interest in genitourinary, gynaecological, gastrointestinal, skin cancer and stereotactic radiation therapy.
