Dr Veenoo Agarwal aims to provide his patients with the latest in oncology treatment through direct access to leading clinical trials.
Dr Veenoo Agarwal is an experienced medical oncologist at Icon Cancer Centre Adelaide and Icon Cancer Centre Windsor Gardens. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Christian Medical College, India and spent his early physician years in the United Kingdom. In 2006 he relocated to Australia to complete specialist medical oncology training at Royal Perth and Fiona Stanley Hospitals. Dr Agarwal subsequently completed a breast cancer research fellowship at Fiona Stanley Hospital, where he investigated mechanisms of cancer treatment resistance. He then gained further research experience and specialist expertise in the management of neuroendocrine tumours, at Royal North Shore and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals.
Dr Agarwal has an active interest in research and clinical trials, with a particular focus on the development and trialling of new drugs therapies in breast, lung, colorectal, and genitourinary cancers. He is also passionate about supportive and palliative care. Dr Agarwal can converse in English, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi, and looks forward to supporting patients in a language they are familiar with. His clinical experience covers a broad range of solid tumour malignancies with a special interest in breast cancer, colorectal cancer, neuroendocrine tumours, lung cancer, pancreatic cancer and prostate cancer.
