Biography
Dr Meena Okera graduated with Honours from the University of Adelaide in 2001. She began her specialist training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, completing it at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital in London. She practiced as a consultant medical oncologist at the Royal Darwin Hospital and Alice Springs Hospital and was involved in a number of key service development projects for cancer care in the Northern Territory. Her clinical interests include treating solid tumours, in particular breast and gynaecological malignancies, as well as providing supportive and survivorship care.
