As a Radiation Oncologist, Dr Zhao has held a number of clinical positions across several hospitals in China. She completed her specialist training at the Department of Radiation Oncology Cancer Centre at the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University, and has previously held positions at Fushun Kuangwuju Hospital.  Before her appointment to Icon Qingdao, Dr Zhao consulted within the hospital and was responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of outpatient and inpatient patients, the delineation of common tumour radiation therapy targets and the formulation of chemotherapy protocols. She is highly skilled in the use of multiple radiation therapy planning systems including and Varian. Dr Zhao specialises in the treatment of gynaecological neoplasms, head and neck tumours, thoracic tumours, abdominal tumours, breast cancer and the delivery of radiochemotherapy.
